My research interests are varied &ndash perhaps too varied! Having too many interests makes it possible to get nothing done while wondering about everything. My main interests are

• Gravity
  The force that governs where matter as a whole in the universe goes, and the force that is resisting attempts at simple quantisation
• Quantum field theory
  The description of all known matter, as well as non-gravitational forces.
• Cosmology
  The study of the universe as a whole. It is a way of mixing the two above interests: the matter described by QFT and the
