Currently, I am a postdoc at UC-Davis working on the observational consequences of various proposals for quantum gravity.
 I also work on "analog models" of general relativity and black holes and how the fundamental structure of spacetime might
manifest itself at low energies (beyond the usual 4-d Lorentzian manifold of general relativity).  For more information about
